Marks and scars

A tree, cracked and stained...
Yet so much life sprouts unconstrained!
Stronger than ever before,
Marks and scars has made it soar,
Reaching unattainable heights
Far away from darkness' sights.
Never stop, my fellow tree!
Even if you get covered by scree,
Let water cleanse you from within,
From the core inside and up to your skin.
Dust off all of your branches
Prepare for the avalanches.
I warn you, more is yet to come,
But stand firm, do not succumb!
And if you stop believing in yourself, Creating around you a huge ice shelf, Remind yourself of these words, As simple letters can win you the war.
Our hearts are like a tree, and God is my water. Who or what is your water?
Nuestros corazones son como un árbol, y Dios es mi agua. ¿Quién o qué es tu agua?
